Patience! One of my friends said “patience” is the word for the last year we have all just gone through and I agree! And, “patience” – is so hard for us humans! This is the first of three coyote paintings dedicated to the deep connections between humans, coyotes and all wildlife. There is so much to learn from nature and in our quiet observation, nature and wildlife offer us a portal to our own true nature and to the deep and interwoven spirit that connects all life together. The highly intelligent coyote is such great observer of everything! They can wait “for the right moment”, the grace of patience”! There is no place “they have to be” as they quietly absorb the sights, the sounds, the scents around them. This painting (which features the handsome Don Coyote of the Runnin’ W Wildlife Center) celebrates the beautiful spirit of this iconic guardian animal of the Southwest.
