I am always amazed at the stealth and silent presence of wildlife. Even in the quiet and solitude of nature, we humans (and, okay the javelina) tend to be pretty loud! When I am quietly painting outside, I can easily be surprised by wildlife, like a mule deer or coyote suddenly appearing without a sound. Walk softly must be their mantra! Don coyote, my muse and permanent resident at the Runnin’ W Wildlife Center in Cornville was once again my willing model for this classic coyote silent shuffle. At the gallery now , “Walk Softly” in oil 20″H x 24″W. This artwork is now done and will be heading to Rowe Gallery on January 31st. UPDATE: “Walk Softly” has found his new home!
