Whenever I look over the vast expanse of a Southwest landscape, I am in awe of  the play of light, ever-changing colors and the shadows, the electric, moving, spectacular shadows. It is hard to know exactly what you are looking at and it is always breathtaking! Then there is the incredible wildlife that is the ever-present heart of the Southwest. I had to try to paint this experience. On the easel right now, is the mischievous coyote Don, of course, from Runnin’ W Wildlife Center, walking with his “shadow-self” while off in the distance the shadow mountains join him! All around him are the colors of a rainbow; is there water near by, or is it just Shadowland!

I just brought “Shadowland” into the gallery and wow!!! “Don” coyote looks amazing stalking his shadow along the desert! The size is 28″H x 22″ W. Please contact Rowe Fine Art Gallery for more information or if you would like to add this artwork to your collection!
