Well, that is what Rowe Gallery owner and bronze wildlife sculptor Ken Rowe always says and it is true! From our house cat family members to the fierce lion, cats share certain traits.  I know with our cats, they know exactly what they are not supposed to do, such as get on the kitchen counter and search for food. They seem so sweet and innocent when they look at you as if to say, “I would never do that!”. But, of course, the minute your back is turned that is the first thing they do.  The little scoundrel bobcat that stalks our yard is just the same. Whenever I see him he gives me the look like, “Who me? I am just innocently sitting here” of course, I have caught him numerous times trying to break into our bunny’s home. Thank goodness it is a fortress designed to thwart any attempt! That does not stop him from trying – especially when my back is turned!!!

But there is no denying how beautiful these cats are and how determined and cunning. They are warrior spirits for sure! To me they have many sides and I try to reflect their spirit with a kaleidoscope of color. Just finished, “Bobcat Attitude” and coming soon, “Who, me?”.
