Of course there had to be one … or two … or three coyote paintings in progress! Here is one of the new paintings I just finished, “Diana – the Desert “! This is a very small and beautiful girl who lives in the same neighborhood I do. I have seen her for the last few years and she is always alone and very small. She has a very distinctive “cape” and that is why I called her Diana – because she is the Wonder Woman of coyotes, small but mighty!
This is coyote “pupping” time which means the coyote families are more on guard and keeping us nosey humans away from their dens. I am always respectful of our coyotes but during this time of the year I am extra vigilant to respect their space. Peaceful coexistence and compassion for all!
