Finished, drying and will be heading to the gallery soon! This is my second tribute to these adorable coyote siblings! My first painting was last year’s “Someone to Watch Over Me”. So here is “Waiting for Mom”! Little Sister and Big Brother patiently wait for the return of Mom. These two adorable coyotes are part of an extended family that lives in the wild in the Phoenix, Arizona area. They have been followed by a naturalist and photographer who has been documenting their lives and activities for generations.

This family has captured the hearts of everyone who has followed their lives and adventures. And best of all, these two thrive today! Little Sister had a family of her own this past spring. Big Brother explored the possibility of the “urban” lifestyle but eventually returned to live in the wild. Coyotes have a special bond with humans. Nature has so much to teach us, we only need look and listen. (Thank you everyone, painting is now sold) .
