After a long month of not painting, it feels so good to be back in the oils! I have 7 new artworks in progress – and three are finished and have just arrived at Rowe Fine Art Gallery! The first is another of the mischievous bobcat called, “I Only Have Eyes for You”. This fearless boy calls our back yard part of his home territory. This painting shows him focused on the bird feeder and considering his strategy! Of course, that strategy probably does not take into consideration me and the garden hose! The second is another of my much-loved Don coyote (permanent resident of the Runnin W’ Wildlife Center). I call this one “Mr. Innocent”. The third painting close to finished is called, “Sedona Trilogy”. It features the sweeping views from the top of Upper Red Rock Loop Road.  On the left panel is a bit of Lee Mountain (with the Munds Mountain Wilderness and Hot Loop in the background). The center panel features Courthouse Butte and the right panel features Cathedral Rock. Each panel is 12″H x 12″ W. This are framed together creating the panoramic vista in a single large floating frame. And there is much more to come this month!
