I am so excited to finally finish “Red Rock Rooster”. What is it about chickens? We just love them, I know I do!  They are colorful, comical and uniquely connected to us humans. There are plenty of roosters here in beautiful Sedona, so just seemed like there had to be a painting of a proud rooster with Cathedral Rock in the background. “Red Rock Rooster” is an oil on canvas and is 16″Wx20″H.

I love to paint roosters and one of my small art works (which I reproduce on art cards) is my Mom’s rooster Mr. Big. He was certainly one of the most beautiful roosters I have ever seen. He was also very good natured – as roosters go! Here’s to you Mr. Big!!!
