Paint out! I had so much fun painting at Rowe Fine Art Gallery here in Sedona in the extraordinary and beautiful Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Center! I have a few photos of wildlife that I have taken at my house here in Sedona and my reference photo for this painting is one of my absolute favorites. This stunning bobcat gave me the most spectacular stare. I could use this reference photo over and over – with different colors and backgrounds each capturing a little something different about this gorgeous wildcat! I just might become the Andy Warhol of wildlife! Fellow artist Shirley Eichten-Albrecht took this photo and my friend Win came up with the perfect name, “Sweet Expectations”! I will be finishing up this kitty this week!
